Hechal Centre for Universal Spirituality is a registered non-profit organization (580449007), which works since 2005 for the improvement of human relations in Jerusalem, through the teaching of meditation and universal-spiritual values. 
 
The Centre runs the ‘School for Meditation’ which offers a structured curriculum, aimed at deepening the understanding of the human nature in its wholeness (psychological and spiritual) and the experiential study of group work and group relationships. 
 
A special focus of the Centre lies on introducing the practice of meditation and universal values into educational institutions in Israel. Recently Hechal is engaged in expanding its activities to the Palestinian society.  

The founder and driving spirit of Hechal is Uta Gabay, psychotherapist and senior meditation teacher. She teaches in the Centre and in other institutions. She is also engaged in writing.
 

Helene Kerem, senior meditation teacher, biologist, artist, is the co-director of the Centre and coordinator of the School for Meditation. She is teaching in the School and in public institutions in Jerusalem.
 

Efrat Tennenbaum, senior teacher of Judaism, teaching in the School and in other public institutions.
